Storyline:
It was the week of the Dragon King’s Annual Ball and Seraphina had no idea what she was going to wear. She’d spent the last few days going through trunk after trunk of jewels and still hadn’t found anything suitable for the big event. Then she recalled the ruby and diamond tiara her best friend Ember had given her. Yes. That would be perfect against her glowing blue scales. She just had to remember where it was. Seraphina looked around the cavern filled with jewels but couldn’t see it anywhere. Then she snapped her claws. Right. It was in cave 21B, two levels down. Tossing a giant emerald to the side, she hurried from the cavern and went down to the cave where she stored her most prized possessions and saw the ebony case sitting on a pile of sapphires. But when she opened the black box, she let out a loud gasp. Her tiara was gone! And in its place was a note with strange markings on it. It was a clue left by the thief. Seraphina studied it for a few moments, then rushed from the cave pretty sure she knew where she needed to go to get her tiara back.

But there are many more challenges in Seraphina’s way. She’s going to need your help to get past all of them to reach her tiara.

How Does It Work:
Kids will visit 8 stations and solve a puzzle at each one, recording their answers on a recording sheet. Since some of the puzzles can be tricky, hint cards have been provided to help the kids solve the puzzles in case they get stuck. There is also an answer key so the party/activity host can give them some extra assistance if needed.

To set up the escape room, just print an answer sheet for each kid or group, and one set of puzzles and you’re good to go. You can set up the puzzles throughout the house to enhance gameplay or just spread them out on the floor or dining room table.

Once the kids have completed all the challenges, they’ll scan the provided QR code with a cell phone camera, then enter the 8-digit code they came up with as the password to a hidden website. If they enter the correct code, it will unlock a secret video to end their quest.
