Storyline:

It was the day of the Dragon King’s Ball and Seraphina was so excited she could barely stand still. When her invitation arrived, she eagerly tore open the fancy engraved envelope. But when she pulled out the card inside, it wasn’t the invitation she’d been expecting. Instead, a strange message was written on the white card. She peered in the envelope to see if she’d missed something, but no. It was empty. She looked at the weird message again wondering what was going on. Just then her phone rang. It was the King. Answering it, she said, “King Whitefang, I received the envelope you sent. But I think someone made a mistake. There’s no invitation inside.”
“There’s no mistake. The Annual Ball is being held in a secret location and it’s up to you to figure out where it is. The first 3 dragons who arrive will get their pick of any jewel in my horde.”
“But…how am I supposed to know where to go?”
“By following the clue you were given. It will lead you to the next. But you’d better hurry, Seraphina. You don’t want to be late and miss out on the jewels.”
No, she didn’t. Seraphina looked at the white card again, then, putting on her ruby and diamond tiara so she’d be dressed for the ball when she found out where it was, she flew off to begin searching.

But there are many challenges in Seraphina’s way. She’s going to need your help to get past them.
It’s time to go to your first clue. Your quest awaits.

How Does It Work:
Kids will visit 8 stations and solve a puzzle at each one, recording their answers on a recording sheet. Since some of the puzzles can be tricky, hint cards have been provided to help the kids solve the puzzles in case they get stuck. There is also an answer key so the party/activity host can give them some extra assistance if needed.

To set up the escape room, just print an answer sheet for each kid or group, and one set of puzzles and you’re good to go. You can set up the puzzles throughout the house to enhance gameplay or just spread them out on the floor or dining room table.

Once the kids have completed all the challenges, they’ll scan the provided QR code with a cell phone camera, then enter the 8-digit code they came up with as the password to a hidden website. If they enter the correct code, it will unlock a secret video to end their quest.
